Foreign Participants in National Competitions
Foreign Participants in National CompetitionsForeign competitors are allowed to take part in a national competition only if the competition in question has been entered in the FIA NEAFP Calendar. NEAFP stands for National Event with Authorised Foreign Participation. The following procedure must be followed in order to get a competition included into the NEAFP Calendar: - the organiser ticks the box ´NEAFP´ in the Permit Application Form (kilpailulupahakemus), under ´Status of Event´ (kilpailun arvo ja lajit), and enters ´National / NEAFP´ (kansallinen / NEAFP) as the event´s status in the supplementary regulations - when the Permit Application has reached AKK the respective Sporting Executive will notify the FIA - the FIA will charge a fee of 220 euro per event to be inscribed on the NEAFP Calendar. This fee will be collected by AKK together with the Permit Fee If a competition has not been inscribed on the NEAFP Calendar a foreign competitor can not participate in a national event. Please also note that in a national competition foreign competitors, and their cars, must comply with all the Finnish rules and regulations and compete in the Finnish classes. For more information, please contact General Secretary Jani Backman |
