Finnkampen Motor
The first ever Sweden vs. Finland Rally & Racing competition, Finnkampen Motor, was driven in Stockholm, Sweden, in the summer of 2006. The tight battle was won by the Swedish team.
- There were preliminary plans to organise the event in Finland in 2007. However, due to difficulties with timing and venue, Finnkampen will not be organised this summer, says General Secretary Jani Backman from the Finnish Automobile Sport Federation.
- We are going to revisit the plans in 2008 and will try to organise the event then, Backman continues.
