World Rally Championship Calendars 2009 and 2010
The FIA World Motorsport Council met in Monaco on 7 December and decided on e.g. the 2009 and 2010 World Rally Championship calendars.
From 2009 onwards the World Rally Championship consists of 12 rounds. In accordance with the new WRC rotation system, these calendars do not include the same rallies. The Finnish round of the World Rally Championship, Neste Oil Rally Finland, can be found in the 2009 calendar.
- Year 2010 is a long way away and the proposed calendar includes rallies for which the plans may not necessarily materialise, says Mahonen, the Managing Director Neste Oil Rally Finland organiser AKK Sports Ltd.
